Hugh William Paddick was an English stage screen televison and radio actor His most famous role was in the 1960s BBC radio series Round the Horne in the highcamp Julian and Sandy sketeches in which he played Julian to Kenneth Williams Sandy Paddick and Williams were largely responsible for introducing the gay underground language polari to the British public
