Julian Roffman

Julian Roffman was a crossborder director who made most of his films in the United States He was responsible for two notable lowbudget horror films The Bloody Brood and The Mask the first feature to use 3D in Canada He studied film in New York and in 1940 joined the NFB where he became responsible for the Armed Service Production program In the late 1950s he joined forces with distributor Nat Taylor to form TaylorRoffman Productions and produce the two features
