M Manikandan is an Indian filmmaker and cinematographer After the release of his first short film Wind 2010 he caught the attention of Tamil director Vetrimaaran who helped produce his feature film debut Kaaka Muttai 2014 The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival TIFF and was critically acclaimed Kadaisi Vivasayi 2021 his fourth feature film had its world premiere at IFFR and received unanimously positive responses from audiences and critics alike
