Mario Andreacchio

Mario Andreacchio born January 1 1955 is an Australian director producer and screenwriter who studied science before transferring to psychology at South Australias Flinders University from which he graduated in 1976 He then studied directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School Andreacchio has directed nine cinema feature films made a series of television specials two telemovies three childrens miniseries and a variety of documentaries In 1988 he won an International Emmy Award in the Children and Young People category for Captain Johnno an episode of the 1988 Touch the Sun TV series
