Christy Cheung WingYin was born in Hong Kong to a family of filmmakers In 1998 she participated in Andrew Laus Young and Dangerous The Prequel In 1999 at the age of 14 she auditioned for Spacked Out at Milky Way Image through a friends introduction and was eventually chosen by director Lawrence AhMon to play the role of Sissy Assistant Director Andy Tse Four Tse LiuShut was most impressed with her performance feeling that she was the most energetic of the four main actors and completely brought Sissy to life without a script After Spacked Out was released in theaters in 2000 she was invited by many directors to participate in more films In 2001 after participating in several films she faded from the spotlight Her last film appearance was in Gangs 2001
