Iliana Sosa was one of Filmmaker Magazines 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2020 and one of DOC NYCs 40 Under 40 in 2021 Her work has been supported by Sundance Ford Foundation Field of Vision and Austin Film Society Her film An Uncertain Future won a Jury Award for Best TX Short at SXSW 2018 She is an asst professor at UT Austin
