It does a little dance for a group of kids, then uses some props to impersonate Harpo Marx, Stan Laurel, and Oliver Hardy. It then sits down at a couple of pianos and begins playing, first, the title song, then 42nd Street. It gets caught in a runaway car, and after running into a fruit cart, crashes into a music store and comes out as a one-man band with the organ grinder in the rear.

We see basic training, which includes an obstacle course (slapping hands, fly swatters), target practice on stuffed dummy human forms, and training for taking off and landing on flattops (sardine cans). The trainees get, literally, their wings. A scout arrives with photos and the attack is planned. The first wave sneaks in behind flowers, then opens a hole in the screened-in porch. A second wave arrives in an amphibious boat, then launches their attack; despite the humans preparations (DDT, flyswatter), hes launched high in the air. Finally, the returning troops land, but instead of reaching their sardine-can destination, they fall short in the water. The bug directing them turns around, and we see his crossed eyes.

A pony express office. Porkys only allowed to clean up and lick envelopes. When a rider comes back, unable to get past the Indians, Porky has his chance. The plan is to send Porky out first with a bag full of horseshoes as a decoy (of course, they wont tell Porky hes a decoy). But Porky takes the wrong sack. He encounters the Indians, who attack (well, some of them are too inept, and only attack their own horse, who eventually attacks back). The mail sack rips open, and Porky uses a butterfly net to round up the mail. He fends off the Indians, and makes it safely into his destination of Red Gulch. The tables are turned at the end, with Porky running the station and his old boss licking envelopes.
