The Dish Ran Away with the Spoon

Dishes and utensils wash, dry, and stack themselves. A duster plays a silverware box like a piano while a salt-pepper-and-sugar set sings. The spoon proposes to the dish (interrupted by a cry from a baby spoon), then plays percussion on some pans and jam jars. Some teacups do a can-can, then a centipede-like conga line. The Swiss cheese yodels. The blueing sings Am I Blue?, joined by a potato crying from all its eyes. An egg dances, slips on some lard, hatches, and sings Young and Healthy. A lump of dough rises like a ghost and dances over to a packet of yeast, which it mixes into water and drinks, then grows, a la Jekyll and Hyde. It threatens the dish; some utensils fight back, lobbing canned goods from a spatula catapult. More attacks with cheese graters, popcorn, a rolling pin, and an electric fan, turn the dough into muffins, a bundt cake, a pie, and waffles.

Little Pancho Vanilla

Little Pancho Vanilla dreams of becoming a bullfighter, but his mother tells him thats impossible. The greatest bullfighter in Mexico, Don Jose, is coming to town; Pancho tells the local women hes better, so he goes to the amateur tryout, but he gets thrown out because hes so small. The bull quickly disposes of the other amateurs, sending one over the fence, where he catapults Pancho into the ring right on top of the bull, knocking out the bull to great acclaim from the crowd.

The Rattled Rooster

A rooster is unable to get worms; the other chickens either get there first or trick him out of the worms. But theres one worm nobody else competes for, because its a trickster. It uses the garden hose, a balloon, toothpaste, and a high-voltage line to fool the chicken. It gets the chicken stuck in a pipe, then launches it with a hotfoot. The rooster doesnt believe it, so the worm launches him again. The worm then attaches a baby rattle to his tail and fools the chicken, but a real rattler mistakes the worm for her child. The worm and rooster team up to get the rattler stuck in a fence, using a couple of golf balls, then shake hands and walk away. The light finally dawns on the rooster, and he comes back after the worm who traps him in the fence, right next to the snake.

J.T. Gimlets department store is closed, and the mice are going on a tour, led by the same W.C. Fields mouse as in Little Blabbermouse. First, the shoe department, where we see mules, both red and green, who pop out of the box and bray at us. Next, the artworks: Whistlers Mother proves to be a good whistler herself; The Thinker is puzzling over his tax return; a painting that starts with two Indians becomes The Last of the Mohicans. In housewares, an automatic ashtray deals with a cigar (prompting a string of babble from Blabbermouse). An automated poker table plays the whole game, complete with the requisite ace-up-the-sleeve. And finally, the gift-wrap department, which includes one robot to measure out ribbon and another to wrap packages. This prompts another string of babble from Blabbermouse, which gets *him* wrapped up (and, when thats not enough, slapped with a \Do Not Open Until Xmas\ sticker on his mouth).

Porky the Wrestler

Porky, along with everyone else, is hitchhiking to the big wrestling match. He gets a ride from the challenger, but at the arena, Porky is mistaken for the challenger and gets thrown into the ring. The champ is making mincemeat of Porky when Porky crawls out and has the champ tying himself in knots, then swallowing a spectators pipe and doing a steam locomotive impression.
