In 1969, the band Sweetwater led by lead vocalist Nansi Nevins opened Woodstock and subsequently got considerable media attention, appearing on a number of TV shows. But just as they appeared to be getting a really break big, they just disappeared. Thirty years later, a cable TV reporter for MIX TV, a musical station, is removed from her show because of being stoned on air. Her station gives her a choice of being dismissed or investigating what happened to Sweetwater. A blending of modern day fiction and past fact is then blended in this biographical story.

Hardy was overcome with grief and sadness following the death of Emma.He had ignored her for half their married life. Hardys uncomfortable secret was that for the last years of his wifes life he had been deeply in love with a young woman -his secretary. Quite simply and rather suddenly, Hardys acts of mourning and regret released a greater poet within himself. The work he created made Hardy one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. At the heart of Hardys writing is the intersection of fate and chance with human tragedy, set in a landscape that Hardy called Wessex -one that has haunted his readers ever since.

When he was an infant, he suffered from the Spider Mites of Jesus (his mother couldnt pronounce spinal meningitis). This caused mental challenges that resulted in his lifelong illiteracy. At 13, he began selling his body on the streets as a drag prostitute. When he was arrested, he took a dump in the back of the police car, leading the cops to give him the moniker: Dirtwoman. Since then hes run for mayor, got arrested at a governors inauguration, posed for his own pin-up calendar (weighing in at 350 pounds), offered crabs from his crotch for a GWAR video and hosted the annual Hamaganza fundraiser that provided Hams for the Hamless. When he died last year at 65, it was on the front page, top-of-the-fold of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and was featured nationally on NPR.

Second half of the 1970s. Several teenagers from Ustrzyki Dolne, led by a charismatic and undisciplined student of the Ustrzyki vocational school, Siczka, decided to become punks and play punk rock. They were inspired by the Sex Pistols band heard on a foreign radio station and the new \punk\ culture. First, they send a letter to Radio Free Europe asking for more \free peoples music\ on the air. To their amazement, the letter is read live, and the station starts airing a weekly punk show. Of course, neither Siczka nor the rest of the boys have any idea what a big deal this modest show will start and what great dark powers will come against them. The letter read out in Free Europe was noticed by representatives of the repressive apparatus of the Peoples Republic of Poland. The SB officer, Jerzy Majak, while interrogating Siczka, makes it clear that Ustrzyki Dolne is not London and there will be no \punk\ in his commune.
