The Pink Panther, reading a super-hero comic, fancies himself becoming a cape-and-tights-garbed crusader and takes the essential garments from a clothesline to become Super-Pink! Super-Pinks well-intentioned efforts to help an elderly lady only result in calamity. While trying to rescue the ladys cat from a tree, Super-Pink chainsaws through the tree trunk, and the falling tree demolishes the ladys house. His attempt to save her from tripping over a lump in the carpet outside of a supermarket by pulling the lump out of the carpet causes the entire carpet to shift position, and the lady falls, dropping all of her groceries. When Super-Pink comes to aid the lady on a steep road by replacing her flat front tire, he jack-lifts the cars front and releases it to careen down a hill and into the path of a train. The battered and bruised lady goes to a phone booth and turns into a super-woman to attack the troublesome panther with an uprooted traffic light.

At a building site, the Pink Panther finds a blueprint for the construction of a generic home and replaces it with a pink-colored plan for an ultra-modern house. When the little man on the building site rejects the Pink Panthers pink blueprint and continues his original project, the panther decides to construct his preferred house on the same site, using the mans materials. The accident-prone Pink Panther sneezes a swarm of nails in the direction of the little mans backside and unleashes an out-of-control power saw that splits the mans ladder in two. The Pink Panther dyes his pink plan blue and slips it in the mans pocket, and the man then appears to unwittingly build the house to the Pink Panthers design. The carpenter has the last laugh, however, when the whole \fancy\ front section of the house tips forward and falls on the ground, revealing the plain cape-style house that the carpenter had initially been attempting to build.
