It's Alive is a 1974 American horror film written, produced, and directed by Larry Cohen. In the film, a couple's infant child turns out to be a vicious mutant monster that kills when frightened. Notable talents involved in the movie were Bernard Herrmann who composed the score (noted for his work on many films of Alfred Hitchcock) and Rick Baker for makeup and puppet effects. The film was followed by two sequels, It Lives Again (1978) and It's Alive III: Island of the Alive (1987) and a remake, It's Alive (2008).

Chihayafuru Collection

Wounded and betrayed, he is ultimately ambushed and killed by the corrupt partner, who then takes control of the police station. Both movies explore themes of crime, betrayal, and the quest for justice within a corrupt system.

An experimental lab animal called a gargantua escapes from his captors and is suspected to be the creature that is killing people all over the countryside. But when the gargantua from the lab appears at the same time as the evil gargantua, the two begin to battle across Japan.

As a movie project of the TV animation "Symphonic Psalms Eureka Seven", it is the second work after "Symphonic Psalms Eureka Seven: Pocketful of Rainbows" released in 2009. This time, as a three-part series, one work is expected to be released each year from 2017 to 2019, and the third part of the finale is postponed to 2021. In each work, the main characters such as Renton, Anemone, and Eureka become the central characters of the story.
